YOU CAN FIND FAVOR!

I know the times we are living in that things are getting worse.  I know that evil is getting worse.  I know that fears are getting worse.  I know that the world is getting more violent.  I know that it is getting harder and harder to find anyone with character upon the face of the earth.  I know that even those in leadership are all together corrupt and the evening news is like watching a horror story.   This is what the bible says about the days of Noah. 

Genesis 6:5-7  5The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”

It is much like this today, yet there is hope look at verse 8

Genesis 6:8  But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Isn't it good to know that when the world is going crazy, you can find the favor of the Lord.  Isn't it good to know that when violence covers the earth, you can still find the favor of the Lord.  Even when God becomes grieved that he made the earth because of all the sin, you can still find the favor of the Lord.  His favor is more precious than silver, it is more costly than Gold.  It is the pearl of great price, it is the treasure above all treasures.

Though their may be wars and rumors of wars.  Though there may be earthquakes, tornados and hurricanes, though there may be pestilence, famine and drought in various places, I will place my hope in God.  Because no matter how bad this world gets I have this hope inside of me, I am able to find the favor of the LORD, and HE is all I need!
